Beer May Help Prevent Osteoporosis
Posted by: | Comments
Does the statement that beer may help
prevent osteoporosis sound strange to you?
It did to me too, as I am always hesitant to
promote any product that may become
additive and cause other problems for the
user. So when I saw that headline from the
United Press International, I immediately
checked out the article.
I learned that it was researchers at the University of
California, Davis, who found that beer might help
prevent osteoporosis. The results of the study using
commercial beer production, were taken from Charles
Bamforth, the lead author in the study.

Better Than Calcium For Osteoporosis
Posted by: | Comments
What is better than calcium for osteoporosis?
If your first thought when osteoporosis is mentioned is calcium, the “drink milk” ads have really accomplished their purpose.
In fact, it may be hard to convince you that
your bones are in danger if you drink milk or
take calcium supplements every day.
I understand that very well, as I was confident
that I would never have any broken bones because I took 1500
milligrams of calcium every day. That was before I broke my
hip the first time.
Since then, after studying more recent research I have learned that
there is something better than calcium for osteoporosis and for
healthy bones.
The truth is that if you take a lot of calcium without the added
nutrients that are involved in assimilating the calcium into your
bones, you are throwing away your money.

disease, stroke, high blood pressure, auto-
immune diseases, diabetes, depression, chronic
pain, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, muscle weakness,

Each of the above has had extensive research to support the

Help Stop and Reverse Bone Loss
Posted by: | CommentsYes, you can help stop and reverse bone loss. It is not incurable! And you can do it without any medication.
Osteoporosis is a term that describes bones which are less dense than “normal”. It is a disease that affects both men and women and it causes about 1.5 million bone fractures each year.

We are now being warned that 1 out of 2 women over the age of 50 will be affected by osteoporosis sometime during the remainder of her life. The sad fact is that this deterioration of the bones may go unnoticed until it becomes full blown and painful.

Osteopenia And Osteoporosis Prevention
Posted by: | CommentsWhy don’t we hear more about osteoporosis prevention? Maybe
because osteoporosis is a condition that may develop slowly and
be truly painless. We may not have any inkling of the fact that we
are even a candidate for the disease.
Then suddenly a bone breaks and it is
discovered that the cause is porous, fragile
bones. These broken bones, or fractures,
occur most often in the hip, spine, and wrist,
though any bone can be affected.
At this point, it is too late to prevent
osteoporosis and the emphasis has to be on
reversing instead. However the same process
that we use for healing may be used for
prevention.
Hip fractures almost always require
hospitalization and major surgery. Many times the hip is replaced
and often it results in permanent disability or even death. Fractures
of the spine or vertebrae also have serious consequences, including
loss of height, severe back pain, and deformity.
There are over thirty-five million people in the United States
that have osteoporosis. Though it is four times more prevalent in
women than in men, many men also suffer from it.
I have been especially concerned because of my own experience of
having broken my hip twice. My goal is to help as many as possible
prevent this needless suffering. An all natural means of prevention
is found in 7 Secrets to Prevent and Reverse Osteoporosis and
Osteopenia.
