Is Gwyneth Paltrow a Victim of Ostopenia?

Can you be a victim of osteopenia? When we use the term “victim”, it gives the impression that something happened to us very suddenly that we have no control over.

Osteopenia or osteoporosis does not come upon us suddenly, so that rules out the possibility of anyone being a victim of osteopenia. Rather it develops slowly over time.  Someone commented that Gwyneth Paltrow, Joan Rivers and Sally Fields having bone issues proves that it can happen to anyone –even to the health conscious like movie stars.

Does having a thin figure assure that you are healthy or health conscious?

I do not know if Gwyneth had a good or poor diet or if she got any weight bearing, or weight lifting exercise.  I do know that excessive dieting and below normal weight is one contributing factor to osteopenia.  Also, a lack of proper exercise is almost certain to produce weak bones.  And several comments have been made about the fact that she avoided the sun, which is our best source of vitaminD.

Many have expressed surprise that someone so young would have osteopenia.  Actually to my surprise,  instead of senior citizens,
I am being contacted most often now by Boomers and those of Generation X –women from 18-49 who are already seeking answers for their bone problems.

Until they learn that I have had 2 broken hip
s and have discovered how to regain strong healthy bones, people often comment that I am lucky not to have any arthritis or hip replacements.  Many are surprised to learn that my 7 Secrets to Reverse Osteoporosis and Osteopenia are natural foods and food supplements plus very simple exercises.

My hope is that Gwyneth will not join Sally and Joan in promoting the dangerous, so-called “bone density” drugs.  If you or a loved one has had that diagnosis, I hope you will realize that natural methods for healing weak bones is far superior to any drug.
